We are now looking for a Senior Data Engineer and a Data Engineer to join our large client company in the media sector for a long-term project. Are you the one who we are looking for?

To succeed in this role, you will need to check at least the following boxes:

• Experience: 5+ years in Data Warehousing, business-driven data modeling, and integrations.

• Core tech: Expert-level SQL, Snowflake (development & optimization), and dbt (modeling & version control).

• Engineering: 4+ years of hands-on experience in ETL/ELT design, pipeline optimization, and CI/CD.

• Data Governance: Solid experience in data privacy (GDPR), anonymization, security practices, and lifecycle management.

• Architecture: Proven ability to design logical/physical data models and cloud-based data architectures (AWS).

• Collaboration: Strong track record in Agile teams, stakeholder requirement gathering, and documenting data practices.

• Fluent Finnish and English skills.

• Opportunity to visit client's premises in Helsinki metropolitan area.

Ideally you also have experience with:

• Advanced tools: Python, Terraform (IaC), Matillion, or Reverse ETL tools.

• AI & Innovation: Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI, Horizon Catalog, or AI-enhanced data development.

• Modern architecture: Knowledge of Data Mesh, Data Products, or Data Contracts.

• Analytics & BI: Experience with Power BI and behavioral data tools (e.g., Snowplow, Adobe Analytics).

• Domain expertise: Background in the Media industry or analyzing real-time user behavior and streaming data.

• Development: Experience refactoring legacy models into scalable, high-performance solutions.
