We wanted to disrupt software consulting by providing the fairest and most transparent salary model on the market for senior software consultants. Looking at where we are now, it’s clear we succeeded.

We started in 2019, and we ended that year with six consultants and one person running the business. Today, we have approximately 60 consultants and offices in Helsinki and Oslo.

Looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to join Mavericks

We are looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to join our industrial client's ongoing long term project in the maritime industry.

What we hope from you:

• Solid track-record and multiple years of relevant work experience in the field from the Finnish IT and software consulting market
• Previous experience in application development, and working with large quantities of data (real-time or event-driven)
• Strong experience in:
  • React, Typescript, Playwright, Tailwind
  • building SASS services (or similar admin tools)
  • working with real-time data or events using WebSockets
  • authorizing applications for different user groups (different features available to different user groups)
  • presenting large data volumes and tables with React
• Ideally experience from Python, AWS, Serverless, CDK and React Hooks / React 18+
• Business minded and proactive way of working
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Fluency in Finnish and English
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations and environments
• Desire and enthusiasm to commit to long-term projects
• Ability to work in the Helsinki metropolitan area at least 2 times a week

Fair compensation – All of our consultants are compensated based on the revenue they generate. We favor equal treatment and use the same compensation model for everyone. The gross salary is 50.7% of the billing, which usually means approximately €6750–8000/month.

Top projects to choose from – Our consultants can freely choose their projects from our large client base. In addition to our own sales, we cooperate with Finland's top consulting companies to find the most suitable and interesting projects for our consultants' needs.
